I’m proud to introduce the Mmojo Knowledge Appliance! It’s a tiny computer that makes a small Large Language Model (LLM) available privately on your home network.
Compared to ChatGPT, Grok, and other cloud LLMs, Mmojo will feel about as knowledgeable on general topics, but much less annoyingly loquacious. That means it doesn’t use a lot of Ph.D. level words.
Mmojo keeps your prompts and its answers private. It never sends them to “the cloud”. It doesn’t even remembers them on the device. Mmojo works like an app on your phone, and a website on your PC, when either are connected to your home network.
Mmojo uses a revolutionary (or at least, “different”) kind of user interface, called “Completion”. Instead of chatting back and forth with it, you let the Mmojo complete your thoughts. This will keep you both honest about its capabilities — important in a time of absurd AI hype. If you prefer to chat, Mmojo has that too.
Speaking of AI hype… There is no better flex about what an AI expert you are than to have your own LLM server running in your living room. You’ll have that 5 minutes after receiving your Mmojo.
